Triple Nomination for Steen Agency at the International Content Marketing Awards

Hammarö, Sweden – September 1, 2026 - Steen Agency has been shortlisted in all three categories the agency entered at the 2026 International Content Marketing Awards (ICMA), one of the world's longest-running and most respected competitions dedicated to content marketing.
The shortlisted entries are:
Best B2B Content Campaign – We are TD SYNNEX
Best Use of Social Media – We are TD SYNNEX
Best Video – Individual – When Data Becomes Hope (Microsoft)
This year's competition attracted hundreds of entries from organisations in more than 26 countries. Following the first round of judging, all three Steen Agency submissions secured places on the international shortlist. Gold, Silver and Bronze winners will be announced later this autumn.
The two nominations for We are TD SYNNEX recognise an integrated B2B campaign created to strengthen TD SYNNEX's position as Microsoft's preferred cloud distribution partner. Rather than focusing on products or services, the campaign highlighted the people behind the business through a documentary-style hero film supported by LinkedIn content, paid social distribution and account-based marketing. The work combined brand storytelling with commercial activation, generating 140 qualified partner responses and, according to the client, the strongest campaign performance they had experienced in seven years.
The third nomination, When Data Becomes Hope, recognises a documentary produced for Microsoft that explores how genomic data is helping transform children's cancer care in Sweden. Instead of explaining precision medicine through technology or research, the film follows one family's experience, showing how initiatives such as BrainChild and Genomic Medicine Sweden are translating genomic insights into real clinical impact. By placing a human story at the centre, the film makes one of healthcare's most complex subjects accessible, emotional and deeply relevant.
"Being shortlisted in all three categories is incredibly rewarding, especially in an international competition of this calibre," says Lars-Petter Steen, Founder and Business Director at Steen Agency.
"What makes me proudest is that the nominations recognise two completely different kinds of storytelling. One project helped generate measurable business opportunities for a global technology company. The other tells the story of how data and collaboration can improve the future for children with cancer. Different audiences, different objectives—but both are built on the same belief: the strongest communication starts with a genuinely human story."
The International Content Marketing Awards have recognised excellence in content marketing since 1998 and are organised by the Content Marketing Association (CMA). Winners will be announced in November 2026.
